Crump’s 22 point performance was one three Bearcats double figure efforts against the Tigers. Stephen Johnson and Devonte Jones both put in 11 points.
The Bearcats jumped out to an early 10-1 lead Saturday against Cairo’s Syrupmakers. Tyree put them up to stay 2-1 when he hit a jumper from the right side just 16 seconds into the game. They traveled to Leesburg Tuesday for a Region 1-AAAAA game with the Lee County High School Trojans. Friday they will travel to Columbus for a Region 1AAAAA game with the Northside Columbus High School Patriots and Saturday they will play Columbus’s Hardaway High School Golden Hawks in their final Region 1-AAAAA and home game of the season.
