A fatal car accident claimed the life of a young Bainbridge man late Saturday afternoon when his car left the roadway and struck more than one tree.
David Harper III, 26, of Cyrene Rd., Bainbridge died when his 2003 Ford Crown Victoria sedan reportedly left the roadway on Swanwall Road.
According the crash report, Harper was traveling westbound at 2:50 p.m., his speed unknown, when he crossed the roadway to the opposite side, struck a tree with the front passenger side of the vehicle, then hit a second tree with the passenger side of the vehicle.
The report claims the road was dry, weather was cloudy and the area was lit.
The cause of the crash is unknown and under investigation.
