Louverne B. Mitchell

Mrs. Louverne B. Mitchell, 56, of Seminole County, passed away Jan. 15, 2014.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014 from the sanctuary of Springhill Primitive Baptist Church in Iron City, Ga. with Pastor Freddie C. Anderson officiating.
She was born in Donalsonville, Ga. on Oct. 6, 1957 to John Isaac and Elaine Baker.
She received her formal education in Seminole County and worked as a lab technician at Shaw Industries in Bainbridge for 20 years. She later worked for MIDS transportation for seven years until she became ill. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church where she served as the secretary for many years.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Alfonza Baker and Natosha Baker.
Survivors include her loving husband of 26 years, Terry B. Mitchell; her children Juwann Elijah-Swatts (Lorenza), Tywann Elyah (Daphene) and Christy Elyah-Osborne (Henry); stepchildren, LaCrystal Jackson, Carlisha Marcus and Tynekia M. Williams; parents, John Isaac and Elaine Baker; sisters, Brenda Cooper (Willie), Lillian Jack, Mary Baker-Dove; brother, John I. Baker Jr.; 17 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Bruton Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
