The Post-Searchlight released its annual edition of Profiles Wednesday, writing and featuring 11 residents of Decatur County and Bainbridge who have unique backgrounds and interesting to chat with.
The Post-Searchlight releases the Profiles edition each year in February to introduce interesting people with interesting stories to the community — people the community may know very well or have never met before.
In this February’s edition, the publication includes stories about a local artist, a veteran who still works each day at the age of 92; a therapist who brings her knowledge from around the world and doctor from Italy. There is a story about a local musician who is a YouTube star, teaching students around the world. Another profile looks into the lives of two Yesterday’s Diner regulars, who are so regular they have “their own booth,” so to speak.
This edition of Profiles, found inside of this edition, gives residents of the community the opportunity to meet 11 characters of the community they may not otherwise get to know.
The 2014 edition of Profiles also features a contest for readers to participate in.
Identify all of the profile subjects and where they are located on the front cover of the edition and win $100.
By completing the contest form on page 30 of Profiles, readers can enter into the contest at no cost.
Simply submit the form on page 30 to the Post-Searchlight office at 301 N. Crawford Street, Bainbridge, Ga. 39817 or mail the form to the Post-Searchlight at P.O. Box 277, Bainbridge, Ga. 39818. Then a winner will be randomly drawn from the correct submission forms entered and a winner will be announced. The deadline for entry is March 14 at 5 p.m.
The winner will receive $100 in cash.
