Mr. James Devon Yates, 35, of Cumming, Georgia, died Friday, June 6, 2014, at his residence. Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at 4 p.m. at Colquitt City Cemetery with Sam Dunn, Hank Sloan, Jordan Faircloth, and Benjamin Bland officiating. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Bland, Brian Donalson, Jordan Faircloth, Lee Milliner, Hank Sloan, and Wayne Strickland.

Mr. Yates was of the Baptist faith and was a telecommunication inspector.

He is survived by his parents, John (Gail) Yates of Cumming; one brother, Damon Yates of Cumming; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Milliner of Colquitt; paternal grandmother, Pearl Yates of Bainbridge; one uncle, Larry (Joy) Milliner of Enterprise, Alabama, two aunts, Rita Sloan of Cumming and Sylvia Faircloth of Baibniridge; and numerous cousins.

Mr. Yates was preceded in death by one sister, Dami Yates; maternal grandfather, James Milliner; and paternal grandfather, Bennie Yates.
