Thomas H. Roland, 87, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2014 at Big Bend Hospice House.

A son of the late Gus and Linnie Faircloth Roland, he was born Oct. 29, 1926 in Colquitt, Ga. He had retired from Borden Dairy and was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Andy and Louvennia Roland, Randy and Kathy Roland; grandchildren and their spouses, Niki and jack Oliver, Natalie and Jerry Ferrera, Kelii and Adam Kirkland, Jason and Kim Roland, Alex Roland, two great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Geneva Roland; and a sister, Pat Pope.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Constance Funderburke Roland and Estelle Miley Roland; a brother, Ed Roland; and a brother-in-law, Ralph Pope.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014 at Abbey Funeral Home in Tallahassee. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
