Clyve “Doug” Tomlinson, 52, of Bainbridge, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Memorial Hospital while surrounded by his loved ones.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Scarborough and Rev. Tim Harrell officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Randy Moore, Jason Inlow, Dustin Willeby, Kenney Kirkland, Robin Tillery and Clifford Inlow serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Anderson, Gary Frazier, Jimbo Godwin, Brian Rucker, Vincent Inlow and Bobby Blevins.

Doug was born January 5, 1962 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of James Nathaniel Tomlinson, Sr. and Mildred Inez Cook Tomlinson.
He was a man of many interests, but his passion was getting greasy restoring classic cars while enjoying old time Rock ‘n’ Roll. Doug always made time for his family and friends. He has touched the lives of many, in unbelievable ways. Doug was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Charlene Inlow Tomlinson of Bainbridge; his children, Heather Inlow and her fiancé, Brian Rucker, of Bainbridge, Chad Inlow and his fiancé, Felicia Weste, of Bainbridge, Dana Tomlinson Anderson and her husband, Brian, of Tallahassee, Fla., David Tomlinson of Bainbridge, and Lisa Crouch of Bainbridge; his brother, Nathan Tomlinson of Hogansville, Georgia; his mother, Inez Cook Tomlinson of Bainbridge; his father, James Tomlinson and his wife, Sue, of Bainbridge; his grandchildren, Sierra Tomlinson and Destini Tomlinson; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Sybil Isler. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ted Tomlinson.
