T. P. Bryant, 92, of Bainbridge, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the VA Medical Center in Lake City, FL.
The funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Worsley officiating. Interment was at Roselawn Memory Gardens.

Mr. Bryant was born September 18, 1922 in Decatur County, the son of Thomas Watson Bryant and Margaret Elizabeth Holt Bryant. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and was a member of First Christian Church. Mr. Bryant retired from Keenan Auto Parts, after serving customers for over 40 years. T.P. organized support for the veterans bus and made it his duty to drive it himself for many years. Even after the bus was in service, he was recognized for over 8319 hours of personal time volunteering for the cause of local veterans. He was a member of the VFW Post 4904 and the American Legion. Mr. Bryant loved his garden, fishing and especially turkey hunting.
Survivors include his sister, Shirley Griffin of Port St. Joe, Fla.; his sister-in-law, Johnnie Bryant of Bainbridge; his grandchildren, Michelle Bryant of Orlando, Fla. and Brandie M. Geary of Palm Bay, Fla.; his great-grandchildren, William Geary, Cody Kempton and Jayden Kempton all of Palm Bay.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorcas Brinson Bryant; his son, Curtis P. Bryant; his siblings, Gerry Roff, Merfice Bryant, Hoyt Bryant and Luther Bryant.
Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
