Mrs. Robbie Nell Roach

Mrs. Robbie Nell Roach, age 86, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014, at her home near Colquitt, Georgia.  A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at Bellview Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Whitaker will be officiating.

Robbie Nell Roach was born December 17, 1928 to Robert Lee Richardson and Nancy Lou Wade Richardson.  She was a life-long resident of Colquitt.  She was a member of Bellview Free Will Baptist Church.  She was married to James Jasper Roach, who preceded her in death.  Mrs. Roach worked at Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company.  Robbie loved the outdoors.  She liked to go fish and travel.  She received great joy from raising her chickens.  Robbie Roach will be sorely missed by the family she loved so much.

Robbie Nell Roach is survived by her children, Betty Phillips of Colquitt, July Carol Barfield of Newton, Georgia, Earl Dean Roach and wife, LaFran of Miller County, Barbara Nell Roach of Pelham, Georgia, and Shirley Ann Benton and husband, Darrell of Eldorendo, Georgia; sisters, Ella Clark of Albany, Georgia, Dorothy Bass of Wilson, North Carolina, and Bessie Hand of Bainbridge, Georgia; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; children, Nancy Alice Roach, Sandra D. Roach, James Jasper Roach, Jr., and James Edward Roach.
