Mary Frances Cox Parramore, 81, died February 4, 2015, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
She was a life-long resident of Quincy, Florida. She was a graduate of Andrew College, Georgia Southern College and Florida State University. She was an educator and administrator with the Gadsden County School Board until her retirement. She was a life-long member of Hopewell United Methodist Church and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She also faithfully supported her husband’s church, Forest Hills United Methodist Church.
She was the youngest daughter of the late Herbert and Nora Cox. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Arylis Parramore; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Nadine Cox, Frank and Bonnie Cox and Ralph Cox.
She is survived by her sister, Rosa Lee Wiggins (Billy); sister-in-law Doris Cox; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
She and Arylis loved to travel to various locations. She enjoyed many family gatherings in the mountains of North Carolina and Mexico Beach, Fla.
She instilled in all her belief in the value of education and importance of love and family. Many charities and organizations benefited from her generosity.
The service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Hopewell United Methodist Church and was immediately followed with the interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Quincy, Fla.

The family appreciates all the love and concern during the last several months, especially Jennifer’s devotion. We will all miss her.
Independent Funeral Home of Quincy Florida handled the arrangements.
