Joseph Sellars Jr.

Joseph “Duck” Sellars Jr., 38, departed this life February 2, 2015 in West Palm Beach. He was born to Louticia McKelven and Joseph Sellars, Sr. on May 22, 1976 in West Palm Beach, Florida.  Joseph was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Sara Haire & his paternal grandparents Lewis and Leann Sellars.  He has two offspring that preceded him in death Sheila Marie Sellars and Joseph Sellars, III. His siblings John Cleveland McKelven, Stacy and Tracy Sellars also preceded him in death.

Joseph accepted Christ at an early age, where he was a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Adolph Noble.

He leaves to cherish his memories & legacy a devoted, loving Mother Louticia McKelven  of Climax, Georgia & Father Joseph (Carrie) Sellars, Sr. of West Palm Beach, Florida; Children: Khiary Cunningham, Joseph Sellars IIII, Jaheem Sellars, Asia James, Sarah Sellars; Siblings: Kimberly (James) Aldridge, Naise Gordon of Bainbridge, and Grace (Greg) Cooper, Sr. of Climax, Georgia, Patricia Jackson, of West Palm Beach, Timothy Hinkley of Hagerstown, Maryland, Paula Hinkley, Ron (Queen) Hinkley and Audrey Dolly of West Palm Beach, and Christian Dolly of Atlanta; Aunts and Uncles: Frank Gordon of Thomasville, Jimmy West Sr., Dwight Haire  & Charles Gordon of Bainbridge, Sandra Gordon, Raylisa (Derrick) Samuel, of Bainbridge, Beverly Roberts of Whigham, Betty Ann (Norman) Wheeler of Plainfield, NJ, Raymond (Lena) Sellars, West Palm Beach, Lorenzo, Randolph and Jerome Sellars of Savannah,  Elizabeth Sneed, Louise Bacon of Statesboro, and Geneva Holston, Pembroke, Ga.;  Host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who love and will miss him dearly.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church.  Burial will be held in Flea Town Cemetery in Climax, GA.  Condolences may be sent to guytonbrothersfuneralhome.com
