Bainbridge Public Safety is investigating a burglary of a Lake Douglas Road home reported this week.
The homeowner reported a General Electric stove/oven range, valued at $1,500; General Electric French door refrigerator/freezer, valued at $3,000; and a Home Depot brand riding mower, valued at $2,000 was stolen sometime in the last month, according to a BPS incident report.
BPS Investigator Chris Jordan said that there are currently no leads and that the homeowner was out of town when the burglary occurred.
“I’m thinking more than one person were probably involved,” Jordan said. “They probably watched the house for a while and scoped it out and realized no one was coming back.”
