The Bainbridge Leisure Services Department’s 8 year old and under girls softball team is involved this week in the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association State Tournament in Moultrie.

On Thursday they defeated the Moultrie black team 28-7. Their victory was sparked by a grand slam home run by Emma Thompson.

Saturday at 9:30 a.m., they will play the winner of the Friday’s game between Rockmart and the Moultrie gold team. All three remaining teams have one loss.
