An Attapulgus man is in jail after Decatur County Sheriff’s Office deputies seized various drugs, a gun and two vehicles while executing a search warrant.
Terrell Demadric Baker, 30, was arrested early Thursday morning by DCSO Investigator Jason Williams and is facing four separate drug charges.
DCSO Investigator Lt. Brian Donalson said that during the early hours of Thursday morning deputies executed a search warrant in Fowlstown and found an ounce of Molly, half an ounce of crack cocaine, about 3.5 ounces of marijuana, powdered cocaine, a gun and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.
Baker is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Donalson said that Molly is becoming a problem in the area.
“Molly has effectively taken over Gadsden County and Leon County, Florida, as the drug of choice,” Donalson said. “We want to suppress all drugs, but especially the Molly that is coming into our county. We are committed to stopping the flow into the county.”
