Amidst a mid-morning fog, about a dozen 100-plus-year-old cars made their ways through Downtown Bainbridge Thursday.
Members of the Antique Automobile Club of America stopped on Broughton Street on the square during their tour around the area. The cars were all 1914 and older models and varied in size, shape color and make, including 1911 Pierce Arrow, 1912 Ford Model T, 1911 Cadillac, 1909 Buick Model 16, 1931 Studebaker, 1911 Locomobile M-48.
The men and women driving and riding the automobiles were as varied as the cars with drivers from Michigan, Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, New York, Georgia and even one from New Zealand.
Owners stood by to answer questions about their hobby before driving off at a slow speed to the next stop on the tour.
The Antique Automobile Club of America aims to preserve and enjoy automotive history of all types.
