Grace Christian Academy cross-country turns in strong results at state

The Grace Christian Academy Lady Cougars and Cougars cross-country teams, coached by Richard and Derinda Cox, finished a strong third Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Georgia Independent Schools Association state meet at Darton College in Albany.
Lady Cougar Perra Harrell finished fourth and earned All State honors. Other Lady Cougar team members were Lilah Widner, Hannah Holden, Carly Godwin, Harsimran Singh and Pooja Patel.
The Cougars earned their third place finish in an 11-team field. Gabe Parker finished 10th, earning All State honors. Other team members were Caleb Carr, who finished 11th, Clay Wells, who finished 21st, Blake Holley, Jack Holden and Chasen Wood.

At the Bainbridge High School Bearcats and Lady Cats annual Invitational Meet Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Bainbridge High School track, Grace’s junior varsity Cougars sprinted home in sixth place turning in a time of 12:38.
