Bainbridge High School Bearcats and Lady Cats cross country coach Yvette Greene and Bainbridge Middle School Bearcats and Lady Cats cross country coach Gina Conley honored their athletes for strong seasons Monday night at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.

The Bainbridge High School varsity most outstanding runner awards went to Bearcat Poncherella Leonard and Lady Cat Uriyah Davis. and the Bainbridge High School varsity most improved runner awards went to Bearcat John Willis Maples and Lady Cat Chloe Enfinger.

Poncherella Leonard set a new record with a 15:56 time at the Westover High School Patriots and Lady Patriots Invitational Meet in Albany.

June Faircloth presented the Dylan Faircloth the First Sportsmanship Award named in honor of her late son and former cross country runner, to Bennett Enfinger. The Epic 5K will be this Saturday at 9 a.m. at Spring Hill Christmas Tree Farm.

Bainbridge High School varsity rookie of the year awards were presented to Bearcat Efrain Diaz and Lady Cat Lani Jackson.

Bainbridge High School varsity coaches awards for strong leadership went to Bearcat Caleb Harris and Lady Cat Camry Fillingame.

Four Bainbridge High School Bearcat varsity runners were honored for being three time Region winners. They were Bennett Enfinger, Grayson Graham, Brenden Greene and Perry Waddell. Scholar athlete awards for having a 90 grade point average or higher and an ACT score of 21 or an SAT score of 1000 went to Wright Cook, Quang Pham, Dalton Savage and Perry Waddell.

Bainbridge High School Region 1AAAA winners were Poncherella Leonard, Caleb Harris, Bennett Enfinger, Brenden Greene, Perry Waddell, Wright Cook, Grayson

Graham, Efrain Diaz. Bainbridge High School Bearcats varsity manager Quang Pham was also honored. The Bainbridge Middle School most outstanding runner awards went to Bearcat Stokes Moore and Lady Cat Viviana Schuyler. The Most improved Bainbridge Middle School runner awards went to Bearcat Jacob Brown and Lady Cat Brittany Tomlinson.

The Bainbridge Middle School rookie of the year awards went to Bearcat Jacob Brown and Lady Cat Brittany Tomlinson. Bearcat Ashton Matthews and Lady Cat Anna Marie Hall won the Bainbridge Middle School rookie of the year awards. The Bainbridge Middle School coaches award winners were Bearcat Aiden Matthews and Lady Cat Sandy Baker.
