Mrs. Judy Ann Palmer Harrell, age 67, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia. Services will be held for Mrs. Harrell at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Black Jack Baptist Church in Bainbridge, Georgia. The Rev. Dewitt Phillips will be officiating. Brian Cottles, Edward Hand, Kenneth Croomes, Garrett Hartzog, Adam Rentz, and Charles Brock will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 10 a.m.
Judy Ann Palmer was born August 24, 1948 to James Virgil Palmer and Sarah Vonceil Bishop Palmer, in Bainbridge, Georgia. She married Nolan Harrell; who preceded her in death. Judy was a faithful member of Black Jack Baptist Church. She was very talented in sewing and doing crafts. She loved being outdoors and gardening. Mostly, Judy loved her family. There was nothing dearer to her than the grandchildren.
Judy Harrell is survived by her children, Gena Kelley and husband, Russell of Baker County, Georgia, Nolan Dewayne Harrell and wife, Amy of Bainbridge, Dawn Hand and husband, Bobby of Bainbridge, Travis Harrell and wife, Paige of Climax, and Esther Gibson of Bainbridge; sisters and brothers, Sandra Cottles of Bainbridge, Mary Wilkins and husband, Ronnie of Bainbridge, Peggy Davenport of Colquitt, Betsy Marlowe and husband, Andy of Silver Creek, Georgia, James Palmer and wife, Gail of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Danny Palmer and wife, Diane of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
