Seventh grade Bearcats claw Yellow Jackets, Tigers to improve to 6-1

Coach Patrick Clark’s Bainbridge Middle School seventh grade Bearcats basketball team posted two victories this week.
On Tuesday they defeated the Thomas County Central Middle School seventh grade Yellow Jackets 23-9 behind a team high 10 point performance by Jvon Lee.
The win, at the Decatur County Memorial Coliseum, improved the Bearcats record to 6-1. Rashad Broadnax put in 7.
On Wednesday the Bearcats traveled to Cairo and downed the Washington Middle School seventh grade Tigers 44-15. Jvon Lee again led them with 13 points. Mark Taylor was also in double figures with 10.
Rounding out the Bearcats scoring column were Kasey Jones with 6, Jamorris Cosby and Quentin Clemmons with 4 apiece, Aaron Mosely Desmond McGriff and Anthony Johnson all with 2 and Rashad Broadnax with 1.
The seventh grade Bearcats and Lady Cats will conclude their seasons Tuesday, Dec. 15, against the Thomas County Central High School seventh grade Yellow Jackets and Lady Yellow Jackets and Lady Yellow Jackets on the road.
