Lady Cats win at Border Wars tourney

Coach Erwin Harrell’s Grace Christian Academy Lady Cougars basketball team posted victories over Montgomery, Alabama, schools Monday, December 28 and Tuesday, December 29 at the Border Wars Tournament in Phenix City, Alabama.
On Monday the Lady Cougars defeated the Success Unlimited Academy Lady Mustangs 55-16 and on Tuesday they defeated the Evangel Christian Academy Lady Lions 38-22.
Against the Lady Mustangs, Perra Harrell led the Lady Cougars with 19 points. Also in double figures was Kelsey Harrell with 13 and Lindsey Duke with 10. Rounding out the Lady Cougars scoring column were Mikey Harrell with 5, Emellia Woodrum with 4 and Addie Elkins and Carly Godwin with 2 apiece.
Against the Lady Lions, Kelsey Harrell led the Lady Cougars with 13 points. Perrra Harrell was also in double figures with 11. Rounding out the Lady Cougars scoring column were Lindsey Duke with 6, Addie Elkins with 3, Mikey Harrell and Mallie Andrews with 2 apiece and Enellia Woodrum with 1. Perra Harrell had 10 points and 6 steals, Addie Elkins had 6 rebounds and Kelsey Harrell had 4 steals.
