Miss Jones and Mr. Borden to wed soon
Dominique Carnesia Jones, daughter of Steven Jones and Verlisa Moten of Bainbridge, is engaged to wed Ellis C. Borden, son of Ellis Borden, of Walker, Louisiana and Reginald and Barbara Clark of Attapulgus.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Annette Jones, the late Ray Jones and of Ella Mae Moten and the late George Moten.
Miss Jones is a 2004 graduate of Bainbridge High School. Graduated from Bainbridge College in 2006 for Licensed Practical Nurse and received an Associate degree in nursing from Wallace Community College in 2012. She is currently enrolled at South University, expecting to graduate October 8, 2016, with a Masters in Science of Nursing Administration. She is employed as a registered nurse at NHC Home Healthcare.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Robert and Geraldine Smart of Whigham, Ga. and of the late Aaron and Elizabeth Borden.
Mr. Borden is a 2003 graduate of Bainbridge High School and attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. He is employed as a Haver/ Fanuc Robot Operator at BASF.
The wedding is planned for September 17 at 4 p.m. at Four Points Sheraton in Tallahassee, where the reception will follow.
