Nathan William Pollock, 93, of the Delwood Community, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Delwood Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Hall and Rev. David Pickering officiating. Interment will follow at Delwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Sam Dean, DeWitt Phillips, David Pollock, Jerry Pollock, Jimmy Pollock, and Mitchell Pollock serving as active pallbearers.

Pleasant Church Road, Climax, GA 39834.Nathan William Pollock was born June 9, 1923 in Camilla, GA, the son of Madison Matthew Pollock and Viola Keaton Pollock. He lived all his life in the Branchville Community and was a member of Delwood Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Nathan loved the outdoors and spent his days farming the land. He loved to garden and tend pecan trees. When he wasn’t busy on the farm or in his garden, you could catch him casting a line at his favorite fishing hole.
Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Mallie Lou Wimberly Pollock, his children, Alice Winland and her husband, Jeff, of Camilla, GA and Durwood Pollock and his wife, Priscilla, of Cordele, GA; his grandchildren, Michael, Chris, Valarie, and Katie; and his great-grandchildren, Trey, Willow, and Meadow. Nathan was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Gene Pollock, J.M. Pollock, Charles Pollock, Jessie Pollock, Murnice Pollock, Kate Henderson, Lola West, Melvine Cornell, Flonnie Dailey, Edith Morris, and Rena Darley.
