Miss Godinez and Mr. Nix to wed March 26
Carlos Godinez and Maria Antonieta Gonzalez of Langley B.C. Canada, announce the engagement of their daughter, Mariana Godinez, also of Langley B.C. Canada, to Wendell (Blair) Nix Jr. of Bainbridge, Georgia and Lynden, Washington. He is the son of Wendell and Carla Nix of Bainbridge.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rogelia Godinez and the late Teresa Navarro, Luis Gonzalez and Maria Guadalupe Juvera, all of Celaya, Mexico.
Mariana graduated from Burnaby Mountain Secondary School and works for a plant nursery in Langley, B.C. Canada.
Blair is the grandson of St. Elmo Harrison and the late Kathryn Harrison of Whigham, Georgia, and Wendell B. and Anita Nix of Bainbridge.
Blair is a 2012 honor graduate of Bainbridge High School and received a landscape design and grounds maintenance degree from ABAC in December 2014. He is currently employed in the agribusiness field with the Elenbaas Company in Lynden, Washington.
The wedding is planned for Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the Springhill Christmas Tree Farm on Woodhull Road near Bainbridge at 3 p.m.
No local invitations will be sent, but all friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
