Tragedy struck when 17-year-old Jacob Brown went on a trip with his parents in June.
The Bainbridge family was involved in a car accident on I-85 in Anderson County, South Carolina. The wreck killed Browns’ parents, Austin Wayne Brown and Jennifer Ann Brown.
Brown was life flighted to a nearby hospital. He survived, but he was without a mom and a dad. Fortunately, the Bainbridge community is doing everything it can to remind Brown he’ll never be without a family.
On Tuesday, July 18, Uncle Bill’s Pizza will host a special fundraiser to benefit Brown. Between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., 15 percent of all sales will go to Brown.
Brown and his dad could often be found sharing a meal at Uncle Bill’s. Michelle Lane of Uncle Bill’s hopes everyone will come out and support Brown.
“This tragedy just broke my heart and I wanted to do whatever I could to help in a small way,” said Priscilla Southall, who is helping spread the word for the fundraiser. “I wouldn’t want my kids to be in his situation.”
