Last week, Bainbridge Public Safety officer Ronald McMillan responded to an armed robbery that had occurred in the Walmart Parking lot.

After multiple days of searching and tips, officers have arrested Christopher Baggling, 19, Lonnie Baggling, 23, and Marq Lewis, 20.

Officer McMillan made contact with Earnest Lowery when he arrived at the scene. That is when store associate, Jaykari Rozier walked up and stated his black Pontiac G6 was stolen from the parking lot.

McMillan began gathering information about the suspect from Lowery. Lowery told the officer he was sitting in his car looking at his laptop when a black male approached him and pointed a black handgun at him and demanded all of his money. The suspect stole Lowery’s computer, two cell phones, a power inverter and a black check wallet.

McMillan observed the Walmart security cameras and saw two individuals walking around the parking lot, pulling different vehicle’s door handles. During his review, McMillan was approached by another store associate, Deorick Lee, who stated that his vehicle had been broken into and his 42-inch flat screen RCA television was missing.

McMillan returned to the parking lot, where Chanice Johnson stated someone had gone through her vehicle and taken her wallet and purse that contained her social security card and birth certificate.

Later that afternoon as McMillan was patrolling for the stolen vehicle, Officer Jayson Myers reported he found the vehicle on Cosmo Street and Investigator Chris Avery was there attempting to collect latent prints.

The three men were then identified and charged with two counts of entering an auto with intent to commit theft, armed robbery and theft by taking.

Lonnie Baggling was additionally charged with possession of firearms by a convicted felon and Christopher Baggling was charged with possession of firearm, knife during commission of a crime.
