The Reynolds Home
524 Shotwell Street
Bainbridge, GA 39819
An authentic Bainbridge architectural treasure is found in the Reuben and Oline Reynolds family home.
Originally built in 1923, by Dr. Robert E. Wheat and purchased in 1970, by Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Reynolds, Jr., the elegant and timeless two-story structure presently remains in the Reynolds family.
Extensive restorations were made in 2014-2015 to preserve the enduring beauty of the home. Beautiful antique furnishings and exquisite chandeliers grace the majestic home and reflect a distinguished era of times past.
The current residents and cousin of the sons of Reuben and Oline Reynolds, Mr. and Mrs. Maston Griffin are devoted to maintaining the historical grace of the home and as well as the gorgeous rose gardens located on the property.
