Robert Cook

Robert Cook, age 47, of Tallassee, Al. and formerly of Donalsonville, Ga., passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Baptist Health in Montgomery, Al.
Funeral services for Mr. Cook were held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Lake Seminole Baptist Church in Donalsonville, Ga. where Rev. Donna Sue Roberts and Dr. Dave Pace officiated. Interment followed in Seminole Shores Cemetery where Tyler Cook, Chase Cook, Shane Mosley, Danny Phakornkham, Tom Parsons, Wilton Johnson, Terry Tyson, and Mike Johnston served as active casketbearers. Visitation was held on Monday evening, February 12, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
Mr. Cook was born in Homerville, Ga. on October 10, 1970 to Bobby Cook and Judy Ann Odom Cook. He worked as a heating and air tech with Edwards Heating and Air in Montgomery for a number of years. He loved hunting and fishing, really anything with the outdoors. Mr. Cook enjoyed cooking; however, his greatest love and enjoyment was spending time with his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Bobby Cook of Donalsonville, Ga.; his significant other, Dana Paterra of Tallassee, Al.; his sons, Tyler Cook and Chase Cook of Columbus, Ga.; his step-daughter, Natalie Paterra of Tallassee, Al.; the mother of his children, Julie Burhenn of Columbus, Ga.; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Ann Odom Cook.
