Gov. Deal, local leaders to announce new industry next week

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal will be in Bainbridge next Thursday, April 12, for an economic development announcement at the Kirbo Center.
Local leadership and legislators will also be in attendance for the announcement of a national corporate headquarters and new manufacturing facility in Decatur County.
“Our Team is pleased that the governor is coming here to announce this landmark economic development project, and we are excited to have this major investment in Bainbridge and Decatur County,” said IDA Executive Director Rick McCaskill.
“The announcement will have a major impact on our local and regional economy and will serve as a catalyst for future economic development in our community,” said IDA Chairman Keith Lyle.
The announcement is planned for 9:45 a.m. Refreshments and fellowship will follow the announcement in the Kirbo Center atrium.
