On Thursday, at approximately 3:20 a.m., Bainbridge Public Safety Sergeant Tim Mixon was dispatched to Verizon Wireless in reference to a break- in.
Upon arrival, Mixon observed broken glass at the entrance doors. He then contacted Officer Josh Glover to help him clear the scene. Mixon and Glover observed several areas in the store where items were noticeably missing, while working the scene.
The officers reviewed video footage and saw that the perpetrator appears to be a heavy-set male wearing a dark shirt, long red shorts, red shoes and red gloves. He appeared to have a dark shirt or cloth tied over his head and was carrying a rolling bag and a sledgehammer.
Mixon and Glover turned the case over to Investigator Mark Esquivel, who is working tirelessly to figure out the identity of the subject. If anyone has information that could lead to the identification of this man involved in the break-in, they are asked to contact Esquivel at 229-515-0097.
