Bainbridge lost in back-to-back games last Friday in Thomasville, falling to the Thomasville Bulldogs 4-3 and then dropping another game to Rockmart 7-4, despite racking up 16 hits across the two games.

Bainbridge fell behind early and couldn’t come back in the 4-3 loss to Thomasville. The Bulldogs took the lead on a 2-run homer in the first inning.

Cayden Sconyers took the loss for Bainbridge on the mound. He lasted four innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out four.

Bearcat Jackson McCullough had a homer in the sixth inning.

Bainbridge saw the ball well, racking up six hits in the game. Michael Conder and Quayde Hawkins each managed multiple hits for Bainbridge Hawkins and Conder each collected two hits to lead the Bearcats.

Bainbridge fell behind early again against Rockmart, allowing 7 runs in the second inning.

In the second, Caden Brock induced Yanzetich to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored, Morris doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs, Bailey singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, and Cole homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Luke Queen took the win for Rockmart. He went three innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out one. Cole and Logan Shelton entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Shelton recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Rockmart.

Brock took the loss for Bainbridge. He went two innings, allowing seven runs on five hits and striking out five.

Bainbridge racked up ten hits on the day. Michael Conder and Colton Harrell all managed multiple hits for Bainbridge. Conder went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Bearcats in hits.
