Several moving on to sectionals after region track and field meet

The Bainbridge High School Track and Field team competed in the Region 1-AAAAA Track and Field Championships on April 23 and April 25 in Warner Robins, resulting in several Bainbridge athletes moving on to the next round of state sectionals on May 3.
The following Boys/Boy’s Teams qualified for state sectionals, placing in the top four at region finals:
Boys Discus, 1st place, Roman Harrison (134-11.00); Boys Shot Put, 1st place, Roman Harrison (47-11.00); Boys High Jump, 2nd place, Casey Jones (5-10.0); Boys Triple Jump, 4th place, Keyvon Campbell (42-06.50); Boys 1600 Meter Run, 3rd Place, Stokes Moore (4:51.54; Boys 800 Meter Run, 1st Place, Stokes Moore (2:01.24); Boys 400 Meter Run, 4th Place, Donye Mills (51.47); Boys 110M Hurdles, 4th Place, Josh Thomas (16.15); Boys 300M Hurdles, 3rd Place, Josh Thomas (43.85); Boys 4 X 100 Meter Relay Team, 3rd Place, 1) Caleb Lewis, 2) Jaylyn Peterson, 3) Tevin McCray, 4) Caleb McDowell (43.19); Boys 4 x 400 Meter Relay Team, 1st Place, 1) Anthony Brooks, 2) Caleb Lewis, 3) Donye’ Mills, 4) Caleb McDowell (3:26.15).
