The Southwest Georgia Board of REALTORS has released its fourth quarter housing indicators report, which includes statistics for the 12 months ended 12/31/2019. Compared to 2018, the following numbers show a decrease of both the active listings (- 15%) and days on market (-19%). Median Sales Price is up 2.75% to $112,000
• Average Sales Price is down -.87% to $122,875.
• Pending Sales are down from 65 to 60.
• Days on Market Until Sold are down 19% percent to 194 days on average
• New Listings are down 4% to 866
• Active listings are down from 264 to 224

(SW Georgia MLS), While 100 percent of all activity in the SW Georgia is not accounted for, the indicators do give a sample of the housing market activity and trends for SW Georgia. However, activity does vary across the state.
