A number of Bainbridge Bearcat and Lady Cat basketball players were named on the All Region 1-AAAAA teams this week.

Making first team All-Region for the girls was Detavia Salter, who averaged 8.3 PPG and scored 250 points this season. India Parris was named second team All-Region, averaging 8.1 PPG and had 243 points this year. Taralyn Brown received Honorable Mention with 7.3 PPG and 220 total points.

The Lady Cats went 14-16 and made it to the second round of the state playoffs under Coach Kelvin Cochran.

K.J. Cochran was named on the boys first team All-Region. Cochran averaged 10.2 PPG, scoring 285 points total throughout the year. Mark Taylor made it on the second team All-Region. He averaged 8.7 PPG and had 261 points this season. T.J. Tarver received Honorable Mention. Tarver averaged 7.6 PPG and had 227 points this season

The Bearcats went 16-14 and made it to the second round of the state playoffs under Coach Jeff Page.
