First National Bank promotes Stephen Whittaker

First National Bank (“FNB”) announced recently that Stephen Whittaker, was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for FNB. Stephen joined the FNB team in 2013 and has over 10 years of banking experience.
Commenting on the promotion, Brad E Barber, President and CEO stated, “Stephen’s promotion is well deserved and provides the Bank opportunities for continued growth across the Bank’s footprint. Stephen’s knowledge and expertise managing asset quality has proved to be invaluable as we continue to serve our customers.”
Born and raised here, Stephen is a graduate of Grace Christian Academy. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Tech and holds a MBA from Georgia State University. Stephen is a 2016 Georgia Banking School Graduate of Distinction and a 2019 Graduate from the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. He is always active in the community. He is the past President of the Bainbridge Lions Club and currently serves as an Elder for Grace Church. He is married to the former Allyson Walker and they have one child, Charles Wesley.
