Ms. Heidi Christine Bonner Lambert, age 51, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Florida.
Services for Ms. Lambert were held at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home, 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2021. The Rev. Hoyt Donley officiated. The service concluded in the chapel. Heidi was interred in Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Climax, Georgia.
In accordance with State of Georgia guidelines concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending were asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing and to wear protective masks.
Heidi Christine Bonner Lambert was born November 3, 1969 in Kansas City, Kansas. Her parents, Frankie Bonner and Rita Mills Bonner Heard, have preceded her in death. Heidi was raised in Cairo, Georgia and has lived in Grady or Decatur County most of her life. Heidi worked as an agriculture inspector. She loved animals, especially dogs. There was a time she worked as a dog trainer. Heidi was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. Heidi had many, many friends and will be deeply missed.
Heidi is survived by her brother, David Bonner and wife, Paula of Climax; niece, Tiffany Bonner; nephews, Aaron Andrews, and Gavin, Dillon, and Derrick Batista; aunts and uncles, Laura Wenzel of Whigham, Georgia, Linda and Ronnie Cash of Corsicana, Texas, Janice and Dennis Foster of Seaford, Delaware, Lynn Mills of Whigham, Jimmy and Tanya Crum of Bainbridge, Georgia, Becky Hartsfield of Cairo, Wayne Bonner of Cairo, Mae Belle Griffin of Jennings, Florida, and Charles and Debbie Mills of California; and numerous cousins.
Memorial donations may be made in her honor to the Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 544 Bert Phillips Road, Climax, Georgia 39834.
