First Port City Bank (FPCB) and Port City Bank Holding, Inc., Bainbridge, Georgia, is proud to announce the recent appointment of Robert M. Cohen III and Brad Thompson to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Cohen is a lifelong resident of Bainbridge, Georgia, having graduated from Bainbridge High School and the University of Georgia. He and his wife, Rebecca, have 3 children and continue to carry on the family’s strong legacy in farming. Rob presently serves as president of the Southeastern Pecan Growers Association and as Director of the Georgia Pecan Growers Association. He is owner of RMC III, a family owned farming operation, President and Owner of Southeastern Fumigants, LLC, and SunKing Distribution Company. Mr. Cohen is also the Chairman of Decatur-Seminole Joint Development Authority Board. He is active in the Bainbridge/Decatur County community and a member of Morningside Baptist Church.

Mr. Thompson is a 4th generation farmer from Seminole County, Georgia. He graduated from Seminole County High School while farming his first crop during his senior year. Brad was selected to be a part of Class VII of the Peanut Leadership Academy in 2011 and received the Outstanding Georgia Young Peanut Farmer award in 2012. He is actively involved as a shareholder in American Peanut Growers Group and Clover Leaf Gin & Warehouse. Together Brad, wife Amy, and two daughters make up Thompson Family Farms, currently farming approximately 3000 acres. They also own and operate AAA Aviation, LLC which primarily does aerial application by plane. Brad enjoys spending time with his family, flying, and working toward his next agribusiness venture. The Thompsons are active members of Trinity United Methodist Church in Seminole County.
