Frances Marlene Lamb, GMF, age 85, of Bainbridge, Georgia, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022, at home surrounded by family.
The Funeral Service was held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kent Barwick officiating. A private interment was at Oak City Cemetery.
The family received friends immediately following the service.

Marlene was born October 10, 1936, in Brinson, Georgia the daughter of H. L.W. “Levin” Yeats and Sallie Mock Yeats. She was a certified Georgia Master Florist. She was District V President from 2004-2006, as well as Director of the Southwest Georgia Florist Association. Marlene was Designer of the Year in 2004. She enjoyed learning and sharing her knowledge with other Floral Designers. She loved competing as well as judging floral competitions. Marlene opened Marlene’s Floral Boutique in 1970. She loved serving her community through her shop, doing wedding arrangements and funeral tributes until 1993. Throughout the years, Marlene did many wedding cakes and catered many events.
Survivors include children, Marsha Black of Bainbridge, Ga., Cindy Henry (Tim) of Colquitt, Ga., Clifford Lamb (Ty) of Orange City, Fla., and Alan Lamb (Rhonda) of Bainbridge, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Ann Rice (Gary) of Camilla, Ga.; grandchildren, Adam, Michael, and Ashley Lamb, Steve and Kyle Black, Stephanie, Zach, and Preston Golden, Brandy Albritton, Ricky, Ashley, and Brittany Boyles, and Wesley and Emily Lamb; 29 great-grandchildren;1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emory Clifford Lamb; son, Lee Lamb; granddaughter, Peyton Ann Black; son-in-law, Steve Black; and siblings, R. L., William, and Loren Yeats.
