The Bainbridge Rotary Club met at the Kirbo Center on Tuesday for their weekly meeting. The guest speaker for the day was Seth Walker, chief financial officer for SRI Management out of Tallahassee. Walker gave a brief overview of himself and how he ended up involved with SRI Management in 2016. SRI itself operates as a third-party management company that specializes in managing senior living facilities/communities across nine states. SRI also manages hotels, and recently got involved in home health as well. With the main focus being on senior living facilities, Walker elaborated further. “A lot of people have this vision of senior’s housing like a nursing home,” he said, “medical beds, dark hallways, but really, senior’s housing provides a large and broad spectrum of housing and care ages.” He explained the various age ranges SRI caters to with their various styles of communities and living facilities, as well as the costs associated with each. Following his main speech, Walker concluded by taking questions from the audience.
