The Cougars clinched their region title with a win over Fullington Academy on Wednesday, Mar. 20. They and the Lady Cougars both waxed Fullington 5-0 in the match.

The Lady Cougars were dominant. Only one set out of 10 ended with a score higher than 6-1. Juniors Kate Poitevint and Sybil Lee didn’t drop a set in their No. 1 doubles match, earning a rare final score of 6-0 6-0.

The Cougars made a statement as well. More than half of their sets ended in scores of 6-1 or 6-0. Junior Owen Earnest, and No. 2 doubles team Evan Sigman and Tanner Singleton, both ended their matches with set scores not exceeding 6-1.
