Memorial Hospital and Manor has recently welcomed Stephen Gambrell as their new Assistant Administrator for Support and Clinical Services. Gambrell is taking the place of Lee Harris, who served with Memorial for over 34 years.

Originally from Toccoa, Georgia, Gambrell has previously spent several years working as the director of operations at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center in Thomasville, North Carolina, a part of the Novant Health network. He expressed a desire to work back in Georgia, and in a small community hospital, while also benefitting Memorial Hospital with his experience from Novant.

“I am very excited to be in Bainbridge, a thriving city that is being served by a dedicated team of talented healthcare professionals,” he said. “I look forward to applying the experience and knowledge gained throughout my career to expand the services offered to our communities and bring an even higher standard of care to Memorial Hospital & Manor.”
