Alaina was born in Donalsonville, GA on April 5, 2016, to Ronnie and Nicole Atkinson Ritter. She had a smile that brightened every room and never met a stranger, hence the reason she hugged everyone she saw. Going to the park, skating, and being at the rodeo were some of Alaina’s favorite things to do. She loved balloons and had a way of always leaving any store she went in with one in her hand. Her personality was bubbly and colorful, just like the rainbows and unicorns that she loved. She loved her fish, Lava and her dogs, Penny and Charlie; however, not much compared to eating ice cream with GiGi and going to spend time with PopPop. There were so many things that Alaina loved to do and be a part of, but nothing compared to the time that she spent with her mama. They were best friends and did everything together. Alaina loved being able to sleep with mama, getting to go to work with her, and the hairstyles that mama always fixed, but the thing that she looked most forward to was getting to have date night with mama at Sonny’s. She enjoyed attending Colquitt Freewill Baptist Church, as well as Open Arms Ministry. Alaina was a 2nd grader at Seminole County Elementary School, where her smiles and laughter brightened every hallway. She will be missed by so many, and she will never know just how many hearts she touched in her few short years.
Alaina leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Nicole Ritter of Donalsonville, GA; her father, Ronnie Ritter of Bainbridge, GA; her maternal grandparents, Steve and Nancy Meggs of Bainbridge, GA; her paternal grandparents, Ronald and Kathy Ritter of Bainbridge, GA; her maternal great grandmother, Nyoka Atkinson; and her siblings, Sarah and Abby Ritter of Bainbridge, GA and Camron Ritter of Albany, GA. She is also survived by her uncles and aunts, Eric and Heather Gibson of Colquitt, GA, Allen and Traci Atkinson of Spanish Fort, AL, Thomas Gibson of Colquitt, GA, and Chris and Amanda Roland of Colquitt, GA; her cousins, Tyler and Ella Gibson, Kelly Fortson and family, Kattie Atkinson and daughter, Kari Hunt and family, and Amber Roland; as well as numerous other family members, classmates, teachers, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Henry and Ruth Gibson and maternal great grandfather, Alvin Atkinson.
