Bainbridge hosts professional disc golf tournament

Bainbridge’s new disc golf course hosted a professional disc golf tournament over the weekend. Forty-nine players turned out to compete in three divisions: Mixed Pro Open (MPO), Mixed Pro 40+ (MP40), and mixed Amateur 1 (MA1). The total purse for the pro divisions was $196.
In the MPO division, Justin Carter came in first with a total of 65, followed by Kyle Reed with 69. Carter claimed the division’s $56 prize.
For the MP40 division, Laymon Gray came in first with a total of 56, while Michael Thompson was second with a total of 64. Gray won $88, while Thompson won $52.
Lastly, in the MA1 division, Jordan Rumfelt was first with a total of 59, with David Muntean, Jr. following close behind with 62.
Bainbridge will host another disc golf tournament on September 7.
