Virginia Patterson Poitevint, 90, of Albany, died Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 8 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with interment at Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Chad Boyd and Rev. Charlie Tucker will officiate.
Born Feb. 3, 1934 in Dade City, Florida, Mrs. Poitevint was the daughter of the late Columbus Patterson and Sarah Sullivan Patterson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Joe Poitevint, Sr. Mrs. Poitevint worked with Dickie’s Mfg and Winn- Dixie as Deli Manager. She was a member of Pinecliff Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bennie Joe Poitevint, Jr. (Teresa) of Albany and Mike Poitevint (Teri) of Albany; grandchildren, Heather Coglaiti (Gerald), Haley Whatley (Dave), Lindsey Tucker (Charlie), B.J. Poitevint (Tori), Josh Poitevint (Mallory) and Kayla Miller (John) and18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service, Sunday, September 8 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Pinecliff Baptist Church, 8193 Pinecliff Road, Camilla, Ga. 31730.
