They’ve made their appearance on social media, and now they are physically here. Wild Aces Boutique has been in business since September. Amber Walden and Alicia Ackels are the owners who came to Bainbridge because Walden’s husband is a Bainbridge resident, and they both “love the little close-knit community downtown.” Their soft opening was Wednesday, and the store had lots of customers. Walden stated, “It was really good. We were really busy. We got a lot of good, positive feedback. There were a lot of people excited to come back, and I sold out of a few things.” The theme of the stories give off a Western vibe. Walden stated the reason for the theme is because she is a barrel racer. She stated, “I ride horses, and I’ve been in the horse business for 20 years. I always wanted to open a boutique with a little bit of a Western twist, so Alicia is my friend who jumped in with me.” The two women complement each other in fashion and business experience. The store contains brand-name women’s clothing, jewelry, shoes, and cups. Walden explained in January they’re going to market in Dallas, Texas, for more name-brand clothes and lot of turquoise products. The women are excited about the store’s progress in Bainbridge. Walden exclaimed, “You don’t have to be Western to shop here, we have a little bit of something for everybody. We plan to get kids and men in the future. No specific style, you commit to your own.” So, If you’re thinking about changing your clothing style to Western, this is your chance to visit Wild Ace Boutique at 304 E. Water Street.
