As a reward for earning 60 Accelerated Reader points, first-grade students at West Bainbridge Elementary School have the opportunity to serve as media center assistant for the morning. Assisting Nikki Martin in checking out books recently is Cesar Chiguil from Kathy Smith’s first-grade classroom. Cesar said that this was an extra special day for him, since it was also his seventh birthday.
