Have you seen something in Bainbridge that you would like others to see?
Then go to “Bainbridge Seen,” which is bainbridgeseen.com, a second Web site launched in conjunction with The Post-Searchlight’s new Web site.
By taking a few seconds to register, you may submit photographs of a child’s birthday party or other celebrations, pictures of a recent outing on the river or of a recent hunting trip with a trophy harvest, or of your take on a recent Bearcats ball game.
“Bainbridge Seen” can also be viewed by clicking on the far right “Been Seen?” in the purple tool bar on top of the newspaper’s new Web site, www.thepostsearchlight.com.
All the photographs the newspaper’s staff takes at events will be on that section of the Web site as well.
The new site will have all the news, sports, obituaries, opinions and other community news and events that the previous site had, but will offer blogs, the “been seen?” component and daily, regular updates.
“I’m excited about the launch of our new Web site because it offers our readers and advertisers more news that’s updated regularly and more interactivity,” said Jeff Findley, publisher of The Post-Searchlight.
Two blogs up and running now are by Findley called “Random Rumblings, and by Jason Smith called “Tech Talk.” Smith is also the newspaper’s webmaster who designed the new sites. Other blogs are welcomed and forthcoming.
