A funeral service for Cheryl Whatley Ellison, 48, of Bainbridge, was held Monday, Feb. 15, in the chapel of Ivey Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Davidson officiating.

Interment will follow at Blakely Cemetery.

Born Oct. 3, 1961, in Sanford, Fla., Mrs. Ellison died on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at Palmyra Medical Center.

Mrs. Ellison was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Whatley and Matthew Whatley.

Survivors include her parents, Tom and Bonnie Whatley of Bainbridge; two daughters, Maranda Hester of Climax and Hannah Smith of Bainbridge; one brother, Thomas Whatley III of Bainbridge; two sisters, Paula Inlow of Bainbridge and Tammy Whatley of Tallahassee, Fla.; and five grandchildren, Joshua Hester, Maryann Hester, Nicole Hester, Harley Donalson and Hallie Donalson.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
