Funeral services for Bertha Lee Morris Ingram, 84, of Donalsonville, Ga., will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville with the Rev. Donna Bevels officiating.

Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery with William Bramlett, Howard Drury, Lewis Carter Jr., Brad Clarke, Matt Darley and Bubba Weeks serving as active pallbearers.

Visitation will be held on Monday evening, Aug. 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.

Born in Cottonwood, Ala., on March 20, 1925, Mrs. Ingram died on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009, at her residence.

Mrs. Ingram graduated from Rehobeth High School and Riley Business College. Mrs. Ingram worked as a bookkeeper and homemaker. She was a member of the Donalsonville Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Ingram; a daughter, Anna Jean Ingram; and two brothers, Lester Morris and Jack Morris.

Survivors include three daughters, Jerome Allen and Lily I. Weaver, both of Bainbridge, and Nancy Ingram of Donalsonville; two brothers, Raymond Morris and John Morris, both of Dothan, Ala.; and one sister, Gladys Womble of Madrid, Ala.; a grandson, one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
