H.P. “Bo” Musgrove

Funeral services for H.P. “Bo” Musgrove, 80, of Bainbridge, were held at Tuesday, Aug. 11, in the chapel of Ivey Funeral Home with the Rev. Milton Harrison officiating.
Interment followed at Attapulgus Cemetery.
Born Jan. 21, 1929, in Baker County, Ga., Mr. Musgrove died on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at Capital Regional Hospital in Tallahassee, Fla.
Mr. Musgrove graduated from Attapulgus High School and attended Georgia Tech. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a retired sales representative for Lawson Products. He attended Liberty Baptist Church and was a former member of Attapulgus Masonic Lodge, Hasan Shrine Temple and Bainbridge Shrine Club. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Sexton Musgrove.
Survivors include three sons, Jay Musgrove of San Antonio, Texas, Chet Musgrove of Calera, Ala., and Phillip Thompson of McDonough, Ga.; three daughters, Christine M. Nichols, Deborah T. Burke and Jackie T. Pope, all of Bainbridge; and seven grandchildren.
Ivey Funeral Home was in charge or funeral arrangements.
