A memorial service for Gary Dean Bridges, 57, of Donalsonville, Ga., was held on Monday, July 27, at Reynoldsville Church of God in Donalsonville with the Rev. Thomas Lanier officiating.
Born in Gastonia, N.C., on Jan. 5, 1952, Mr. Bridges died on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala.
Mr. Bridges worked as a painter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles William Bridges, and two brothers, Gene Bridges and Larry Bridges.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Bridges of Donalsonville; his mother, Margaret F. Bridges Holt of Bainbridge; three daughters, Tina Haire, Carolyn Bridges and Laquita Bridges, all of Donalsonville; and two brothers, Keith Bridges and Wayne Bridges, both of Bainbridge; two grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
